As the website says, tickets for the dog night will be on sale at all home games.
The tickets give you entry to the greyhound track and also entry in a "buster"
draw for a prize of E2,000. There will be one "buster" races on the night. If
your ticket has the same combination as the finishing combination of the race
(ie 123456) you win E2,000. There will also be loads of spot prizes on offer.
Tickets will be on sale in books of ten. We are asking supporters to take books and to sell them to workmates, friends, family etc. An alternative way to sell a book is to ask your employer/sports and social club or a local business to buy a book for E250. They can then distribute them to their employees.
The transfer window opens on July 1st, the day of the dog night, so it is imperative that we have sufficient funds available to bring in some additional players. This fundraiser is crucial to our success for the remainder of the season.
If you can help, please send me a pm, or give Ronan Coleman a call/text at (087) 6972823 or send him an e-mail at ronancoleman@eircom.net.
Come on United !

We are having a sellers night out at the Galway Greyhound Track next Friday,
16th June. Every seller is entitled to two complimentary tickets. This is a "warm-up" for the night on July 1st.
If you are able to give a hand with ticket sales and would like to come to the night out, send me a pm.

The above concert, scheduled for Saturday night at Pearse Stadium, has
been postponed as the singer has laryngitis. I hope she makes a full recovery.
I know that some supporters intended to go to the concert and unavoidably therefore could not attend the dog night. Problem solved !
Talk to you later, time to say goodbye ;)

Right people, The race night is tonight and not all tickets are sold. If you want Tony to get players in the july transfer window, you have to get behind this promotion, as where do you think the transfer kitty is coming from!!

Thanks to all who helped out with ticket sales and those who attended on the night.
Congratulations to Mike Corcoran, Castle Park, who won E2,000. Mike, who is a member of the GUST Nightowls tean, bought his ticket at the stand in Shop Street. He will be presented with his cheque at the game vs Ipswich Town on Wednesday July 12th.
