Harps are actually one of the best u21 teams so far this year if not the best. have beaten all the best sides so far this year in fact.

Gorman got the other goal. Keeper spilled it and it crossed over the line.

How do you come to that conclusion ?

The best 2 U21 sides in the league are UCD and Bray, followed closely by St. Pats, Shamrock Rovers, Shels and Cork. All these sides bar Cork are in the Leinster Division, by FAR the strongest division in the U21 set up. Have they beaten all of this sides ? Bit of an oul OTT statement there saying the 1 of the best if not the best when they have'nt played the top sides yet.

LEINSTER DIVISION St Patricks Athletic,Dublin City, Shelbourne, Dublin University, Bohemians, UCD, Shamrock Rovers, Kildare County, Crumlin United, Bray Wanderers

MID WEST DIVISION Galway United, Mayo League, Athlone Town, Salthill Devon, Ballinasloe Town, Mullingar Town, Mullingar Athletic, Longford Town

NORTH LEINSTER DIVISION Derry City, Dundalk, Drogheda United, Monaghan United, Finn Harps, Sligo Rovers, Inishowen League, Letterkenny Rovers

MUNSTER DIVISION Waterford United, Cobh Ramblers, Cork City, Kerry League, Limerick, Kilkenny, UL Aisling, Lifford FC (Clare)

Apart from Drogheda and Dundalk, how can they call our division North Leinster?

Well Harps have beaten Bray last year I think and Shels and Bohs this year. We've won our group stage of the U21 stage for the last three years so can justifiably claim to be quite strong at that level. The other teams we haven't come up against (apart from UCD- who have beaten Harps a couple of times in recent years) due to the format. Anyway- the measure of an U21 teams success is how many players progress to the first team and nothing else. Winning stuff is nice but the teams are there to develop players- a good few of our current first team started off in a Harps U21 side that got a fair few hammerings- so I'd consider that team a success.
