good article.....but considering they say they lost to a 87 minute goal to Drogheda it should also say they were lucky not to lose in Sligo, considering it was a last minute equaliser.
and a last minute goal against too..

It was a last minute peno and a 94th minute equaliser. That's not luck, that's determination. :D
We are nearly safe 20 points should do it, 20 points from 1st 11 will do very nicely. Possible we could be top or joint top after the 1st 11 which would be nice.
So far this season i have been very impressed with the team (except Anto Murphy) we lack wingers O Connor and Rutherford our 1st choice but with injuries we are left lacking there and with Keegan and Molloy playing so well up front they need service from the wings.
Ryan is solid in goal, Clarke a decent back up.
Back 4 is perfect even with 3 defenders out we still as good as ever, getting to the point where i wonder if Club Captain Foley will get a game when he gets fit. Except Anto Murphy of course. Darragh Maldini doesnt let much by.
Quigley Brennan/Caffrey Maldini Frost C Foley Murphy
Midfield is also near perfect Foley and Mulcahy are hard *******s :) With Reilly and Perth as DMFs if needed, Foley has been a revelation this seaosn after adjusting to EL. O Connor and Rutherford and possibly Fitzpatrick(needs a decent RB not Anto Murphy to actually do anything) Quigley 2 is also a decent player who can play on the wing.
O Connor Foley Mulcahy Rutherford/Quigley Perth Reilly Fitzpatrick Quigley 2
Up Front Molloy is a 3rd of the way towards getting player of the season, its like the last 7 years never existed. Superb so far and without him we dont create much. Keegan does a job and does it well with Armstrong to come back and the very lightweight Roche and massively overweight Larrson, can see us struggle with injuries if Keegan or Molloy get injured.
Keegan Molloy Roche Quigley 2 Larsen Crouchie Flood
So we have made a good start but couple key injuries and we screwed, least Johnny Mac activley looking for a right winger and with C Foley and Armstrong to come back we may be alright this season.
/Pats fans consider the 0-0 with Waterford and Bohs as 2 dropped, the 2-2 with Shels 2 dropped, the 1 with drogs they didnt deserve to win but we shoudnt have lost, and the 1-1 vs Derry to be dropped points, been a long long time since we thought that after 1o games.

Good article, but award for typo of the season so far has to go to the "irrespirable duo of Trevor Molloy and Paul Keegan"
If the word exists, it can only mean "not capable of being inhaled", which given the keeper involved is probably just as well...:D
