The ref was excellent on Fri night.

That's not because we scored SIX, but he let the game flow; I think Super Fran was the only player to get cautioned (?) all night. In fact, the ref was a hell of lot fitter than the Number 10 for Mons!

He was brought in as part of an exchange programme from Scotland. Tis' a pity that his first experience of Irish football was a poorly attended one sided game on a below par pitch.

Maybe they will send :mad: Alan Kelly:mad: to a Huns game next season!

Agree, there has been at least 10 matches there in the last 3 weeks alone.

Fair point. But Terryland is being played on all year 'round for two years without a decent break and it's no way as good as it has been. It's still probably one of the best in Ireland.

Ref was great...I commented on that to my fellow mons. He really did let the game flow and even tho we were **** at least we didnt suffer the usual load of yellow cards that we get. Our discipline isnt as bad as our reputation for bad discipline and I think that sometimes we suffer coz of our rep. Finnie was excellent.

As for your pitch! Jaysus! Thought I was at the beach....was gonna go looking for a stall selling buckets and spades coz then our players could have at least made some sand castles while u guys ran amuck over us!
