When did a UCD player last start a competitive U-21 game for Ireland? (Apart from Hughie Dave for the North)? Ciarán Martyn, Clive Delaney and Robbie Doyle all played friendlies only, as have Quigley and Dicker to date.

1-0 down according to the FAI (http://fai.ie/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=503).

in last few mins according to fai website.
usually you'd also expect a penno so it must have been a foul or handball outside the box, or maybe a punch.

Will he be suspended for the home leg now?

I'd imagine so, Schumi. Given that he was sent off and there's no mention of a penalty then it must have happened outside the box. A deliberate handball maybe? Hopefully it's not some sort of violent conduct.

From FAI website:
Republic 'keeper Darren Quigley was issued with a straight red-card by the Referee in injury-time after reacting to a heavy challenge by one of the home side's strikers.

As long as he is not suspended for a UCD match quite frankly I'm not that bothered :D

Dicker on the bench for this evening. Quigley obviously suspended. No other changed. Rene Gilmartin of Walsall is in nets - never heard of him.

Dicker got the last 15 mins or so of the game. He didn't do much though because he had to stand in as full back whenever Irelang got the ball forward (which was most of the time). He had one hilariously poor clearing headar though, straight up into the air.
The stand in keeper gave away and saved a penalty, so wheather that's good or bad I don't know.

i was at the match, student mullet i dont think you where watching the same game, i taught he did well on the ball he didnt give it away once. Quigley is going to find it hard to get back into the team i taught the keeper did very well last night.

I think in fairness, Mullet meant that Dicker was in a very defensive position for his few minutes and didn't get the chance to get forward and cause trouble like he can. More "he didn't have the chance to do much" then "he didn't do much".

Yeah, but Mullet's much quieter. I think you're mixing them up.
Also, he's in Wales now don't forget.
