Tony Mannion has been appointed manager of the Mayo U21 side for the upcoming season.
Dessie Cawley is our new U21 manager. He has previously been successful in this role with the Sligo and District League U21s. Dessie is being assisted by Tom French (Mervue United), who has UEFA qualifications.
I believe that there may be some new recruits from Sligo on this panel. Sligo Rovers U21 team has practically disintegrated (they only had nine players for a recent game) and there may be some good young players to be recruited from the NorthWest.
Salthill Devon are rumoured to also be entering a team into the U21 League.
