Moving Threads

Suggestion:

Does vBulletin have a way to send auto mail when a thread has been moved to a different section - mail sent to thread starter? Could be used for merging too?

Just seen it on other forum & might be good idea...?

No real need, is there? If you search for posts via New Posts, it shows up anyway and you don't notice what forum it's in. If you search through forums individually, it still shows up, but just as moved.

Don't think so, not as yet. If there's a valid reason for it, I could look into it; I'm more inclined to install plugins these days because they don't bork up the software.
