Saints’ fans campaign for Richmond stay
A St Patrick’s Athletic supporters group believe that the majority of the club’s fans want the club to remain at their current home Richmond Park.A public meeting is to be held on May 4th to oppose the sale of the Inchicore venue and this event will be chaired by the ‘Pat’s for Richmond Group.
“In our original open letter, we stated that we felt we represented the views of the majority of Pat’s fans. The proof of this lies in the fact that since then, over 1400 people – including former Pats and Republic of Ireland manager, Brian Kerr have signed a petition collected at home games, urging the board to adopt a policy of developing Richmond Park as the club’s home,” said group chairman Dermot O’Hara.
