Dundalk go into the match (against us) with several injury worries. Trevor Vaughan will again be absent from the squad with a hamstring injury while Aidan Lynch is unlikely to be ready for action. Derek Griffin has been playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks with ankle ligament damage and is also a doubt for Friday night. New signing Brian Kelly could well be called into the starting line-up having made his debut against Monaghan United. John Gill also faces some tough decisions with vice-captain John Flanagan available again following his suspension.
