This as always is a hard one to call as everyone knows its a place where it can be hard to get a result and this weekend will be no different. Cobh have been having a very poor start to the season from a player and supporters point of view and Im sure they will fancy themselves to kick start some sort of good run very soon.

For us on the otherhand, I think most of us will be praying to see the same starting eleven as last weekends match against Kildare which produced some of the best football seen this season. If this is the case I will again (like last week) be very happy with a 1-0 win for united, but again it could be very easily another draw !

Come On United:)

Lets stick with a winning formula. I always thought Murphy would be a better option in midfield. I don't think our lack of goals so far has been entirely the strikers fault, more to do with the poor supply of ball from others. Mixie and Foley didnt work, they are too alike as aggressive ball-winners. Murphy will bring the wide players into it more and Cooke has been the surprise of the term so far, so hopefully he keeps it up.
Obviously, Cobh think that at some stage they are going to go on a run, but not at our expense lads. This is a vital game, with the two home games to follow. If we can head for Limerick with 4 wins on the bounce, aspirations for honours can begin to soar again. Maybe get 2,500 for the Rovers game. What an atmosphere that would be.
Anyway, all the best for the weekend, hopefully I will be toasting victory in some Salamancan internet cafe.(I'm off there for the weekend :) )

it has to be.Cobh like Dundalk is one the trips i hate thats why im staying there the weekend! We never get anything easy down there so same level of performance as last week is required.
