 Just glanced at RTE 9pm News and in their sports report -NOTHING, NOT A MENTION of tonight's EL games. We had a preview of a Gah football game between Limerick and Louth FFS:eek: plus other mickey mouse competitions and a glance at Manure v Sunderland.
Oh yeah, it's on RTE radio (0142) so that's all right then.

Disappointing but can't whinge about them not winning all of those kind of games.

Exactly. Honestly though the sooner the Setanta's over the better.

City lacking something tonight but fair play to Bray who fought for everything(from what i heard on the radio). Again McNulty playing a stormer. Great to know he's there when needed

According to RTE reported McAuliffe there were 1,500 in Terryland.:) He also had great praise for the PA music.:D

Good away point for Town:)

RTE reporter mentioned that there was also a "guge crowd" at Dalymount - tone of his voice seemed to indiacte that he was pleasantly surprised by it.

Not a problem for us though, we are in the final as well but are now four points clear at the top and we played Linfield on Tuesday night :D

Cork were lucky to leave the Carlisle with a point tonight ! there front two didnt get a sniff all night, Cork's 1st effort on target was on 41 minutes. Bray were excellent and yet again created a load of super chances but just could'nt put them away (when we click some team is going to get an awful beating !) Zayed missed a SITTER with about 4 minutes to go, clean through on goal, no more than 6 yards out and he blasted it stright at the keeper. Very dissapointed with Cork, defo did'nt look like league champions tonight.

O'Callaghan is MUCK, Foxy totally out classed him from from the start. Great to see he still has'nt changed, DIVING cheating PR*CK !

Skippy mad 2 good saves in the 2nd half but other than that not much to do being honest. Pip's effort that skimmed the top of the bar was so unlucky and Willie Tyrrells volly was inches wide. David Tyrrell was quality, his crossing was very good and he worked very hard all night.

Man of the Match IMO was Robbie Doyle, he was absolutey class, up front on his own for most of the night and he worked his arse off, he deserved a goal for his preformance. Cork's best player was there keeper.

Between 2500/2800 at the game.

What he said but with the rose-tinted glasses on here instead. Take them off both and its somewhere in the middle .... a brutal, practically non-eventful game, Bray had a few sniffs at goal but didn't bother to take them ... Benno nearly put one away from a corner but didn't put enough on it. Evened it up i suppose. We were missing Flynnie up front i'd say and it was hard to raise the level in between two big Setanta Cup games. Its complete contrast, from a complete high to the Carisle grounds. Its good that Bray got a point out of it.

I don't quite know what a 'guge crowd' would be, but I don't think it sounds like something to be 'pleasantly surprised' by. 'Guge' probably describes quite well the football on display actually

I'd agree with most of that except the bit about O'Callaghan - get a life ffs!! You also forgot to mention Bray's overly physical approach, Bray's timewasting from early in the second half and the "Devlin out" banners prominently displayed. Robbie Doyle was, without doubt, the best player on the pitch. His pace caused us all sorts of problems. Deserved point for Bray which probably should have been three.
