[Sung to the tune of Yellow Submarine]

At the club where he came from
In the town of Coventry
They didn't want him any more
From his contract, he was free'd
But he went out to Japan
With the mighty boys in green
When he scored, he scored so well
You'd have thought 'twas Robbie Keane

We all dream of a team of Gary Breens
Wearing strips of green
Defensively so mean

He hasn't always played so well
When he'd don the shirt of green
Remember Cyprus at half time
He got the scorn of big Roy Keane
"That is not the ****ing Point"
Was the scream of captain Keane
But now out there in Japan
Keane is nowhere to be seen

We all dream of a team of Gary Breens
Wearing strips of green
Score like Robbie Keane

Now the past is all forgot
Lost in distant memory
Because now with our heros help
We are in the last sixteen
And we'll whoop some spainish ass
When we go to South Kore'
And the fans they'll sing aloud
Gary Gary Gary Breen

We all dream of a team of Gary Breens
Wearing strips of green
On Sunday, June Sixteen

We all dream of a team of Gary Breens
Wearing strips of green
Defensively so mean

We all dream of a team of Gary Breens
Wearing strips of green
Score like Robbie Keane

We all dream of a team of Gary Breens
Wearing strips of green
On Sunday, June Sixteen

Why I'm Glad The Irish Are Out
By Neville Hadsley
The Irish went out to Spain. Am I alone in being glad? It's not that I've got anything against the Irish or Mick McCarthy. It's just a certain person has got up my nose....

and the reason is gaaary gary breen :)
