I see NBC News had that famous BBC "spaghetti crop" film on last night with Richard Dimbeley.
Anyone ever hear of it??

Saw a short docu on that recently, absolute classic April Fool's prank! Wonder who's job it was to go around to all those trees tying strings of spaghetti to the branches?!

My Cockney cousin actually remembers it well. Seems that people phoned up the BBC with advice as to how to save the spaghetti crop and others were miffed that it was a p!sspull.:D

He isn't a Ryanair pilot. Not sure of his status now but at the time of the incident, he was and eirjet pilot. I'd be much more worried if he put the plane down in the sea. Anyone who has ever flown to Derry will appreciate how this mistake could be made.

Was the caller on friday morning looking for freezer to freeze his mother in an early April Fool? Caught the start of todays show and ray said he had big news about it, then i missed 10 mins and later i thought i heard him say it was an april fool. Any ideas?

The fact that you have written "April Fools Joke" in brackets beside the topic kinda gives it away!

I was in stitches when I heard this brilliant stuff! Pity that it was the day before April Fools but it's always April fools day on that show - great stuff  :p
