im sure every one has seen the ads , im wondering has any one done this either switched there current account or mortgage who did you use and how much did you save .

im getting sick of bank of ireland and im thinking of moving but is it worth it or a load of unwanted hassle

Is it going to put you in a better financial postition by switching? If not, why aggrevate yourself.

Eventhough AIB & BoI don't advertising free banking that if you threaten to leave they will give it to you. Obviously it would depend on personal circumstances... Been meaning to try it myself...

AFAIK banks now have to do all the hard work themselves. You go to Ptsb and tell them you want to switch your BOI a/c to them and they do the rest.

Obviously way harder than that but they're making a big push for this so might be worth a call
