What's happened with this? Supposed to be appointed this month, no mention so far:confused:.

Very true, I believe it was announced at the AGM that someone had been chosen and would take up the role at the end of March.

We have not even heard a name, maybe this person changed their mind. Or to be more cynical one could say that it was not true at all and was just announced at the AGM for show.

A further announcement from Rovers would clear this up :D

What would be the purpose of announcing something "just for show"?
As far as myself and other shareholders who attended the AGM is concerned, it was stated that the person appointed had commitments, or was contracted to his present employer. Up to what date I'm not sure. Think it was end of March or early April.

There's an article in the Weekender, and it names our new commercial manager as Richard Sunderland. He has taken up the post on a full time basis.
I wish him well and hope he can attract some big sponsorship.
Someone told me that he's Scottish. That's all I know about him.

Yeah. It's great news. Lots of untapped potential in the business community.
Well done Rovers!

He knows a fair bit about coaching too so will be getting involved in that too.
