Irish Blood Transfusion Service (http://www.ibts.ie/). Yes, believe it or believe it not, a service named in English in a predominately English-speaking country.

In what ways, and to what extent, does the concept of Spain’s ‘Golden age’ apply more specifically to the reign of Philip II than to the while period 1474-1598? Justify your answer by reference to the similarities and differences you detect between the period before and after the accession of Philip II in 1556.

have another one due next week on the aid agency goal, looking at how they promote themselves and the problems they face/will face in the future, it never ends:(

To FOSS software or to articles about it?
For software, there's a thread on boards.ie (http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=231147) for that kind of thing.
There's a good free ebook (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/opensources/book/toc.html) available on Tim O'Reilly's site by a load of advocates including Linus Torvalds (the guy behind Linux), Richard Stallman (the original free software advocate and still a really important figure), Robert Young (founder of Red Hat, one of the biggest Open source based companies), etc. They discuss it as a philosophy, business plan, design method, etc. You could read the whole thing in a day or two, and you'd get a good flavour of the 'movement'.
