Believe it or not but young joey used to get the same bus as me to school for a while. I was in the same year as his eldest brother, who was the worst footballer, ever.

He's not starting for Bolton tonight nor on the bench.
I can't find any explaination anywhere including Boltons site.
Anyway Nicky Hunt his replacement just scored a shocker of
an own goal :D

joe is from dublin 12 alright. i played with him for Drimnagh Castle in gaelic football and i must say he didn't stand out as the best player in the school at soccer either. funny how that happens

his brother Tommy played for Celtic at one stage iirc

Not sure if he was a Celtic but Tomas was definitely the better of the two O'Brien brothers coming through the Castle anyway. I'm sure Stiff would know Saint Tom.
What club did he play for? Lourdes or Crymlin?

He would have played for Lourdes at some stage.

Well he had an awful game today. The entire Bolton defense were poor but O'Brien looked totally off the pace of the game.
