Anyone interested in travelling by bus to the Longford game can contact the trust, who will be running a bus to the game.
I would expect the departure to be around 5-5.30pm. Details on cost have yet to be finalised.
The trust are also looking into block booking buses for further away games and publishing this list so supporters know exactly whate games buses will be travelling to.
cheers.

Just confirmed last night that the supporter bus will be leaving at 5pm from The Showgrounds. The cost will be €15.
There is also one pick up point at Collooney (5.15 approx), alongside the road parallel to the filling station the first roundabout (approaching from Sligo)

Over 24 hours before Kick Off and The Buterflies are starting already, how will we do, what will the support be like, will we come away with a point or a gret start with a win.

Yes unfortunately the bus we were given was poor, even though we were told we'd be getting a better one. We dont think the bus was up to any standards deserving of Sligo Rovers supporters spending time and money travelling to away games.
It is with this in mind that I hope to compensate everyone who travelled on saturday, as a sign of good faith from the trust. We believe in providing a better service that what we got. So anyone who travelled to the game on saturday, will be able to travel on the next trust bus with no charge.

Well done to gary and the trust. I was just wondering does this only apply for the next game or for the next game the supporters go to on the bus whether its the next game or one later into the season

ideally and for purely simplistic purposes, it would be easier if it was the next bus; less admin that way. But I'm willing instead to cover the next trip you make. But hopefully that trip would be sooner rather than later. Also if anyone booked a seat for someone else under one name then please contact me by email (info@thebitored.org) with the name of the person you also booked.
EDIT - where the cost of travelling to the game of your next trip exceeds €15, then you may have to pay the difference. (eg. say if it cost €20 to drogheda then you'd pay the €5 difference) not saying this will happen but just in case at least everyone will know.
cheers
