United sign Raffael Cretaro
Stephen Lally has put the final piece of his jigsaw together today with the signing of Raffael Cretaro who previously played with Sligo Rovers. The Tubbercurry native, who is 23, plays mostly in...... www.galwayunitedfc.ie
I'm guessing now that Murph's will be playing up front!
you couldnt wipe the smile of my face with a wire brush ! :D
this is great news, i was hopin lal would add another b4 the transfer window, and raf is the perfect player to add more strength in attack. the rovers fans are all disgusted, a great end to a successful transfer window.

i've said it elsewhere but this is as good for ye as it is awful for us . he will do great for ye . great competitor so commited . great header of a ball for a small guy . will probably play right wing for ye but also can do right back and up front if needed. that should make ye favourites to win it now.
Should make the sligo match interesting! Cretaro, Foley, O'Donnell and O'Dowd !
that should make ye favourites to win it now.
E50 at 12/1:D
Galway are into 6's now
hopefully we can get to sligo now, 3 o clock suited better for buses and stuff, ya this signin will def hugely increase our chances. happy days.

with Terry. That doesn't mean we're the ideal strike force for Sligo Rovers :D
cheers galwaygirl, ill just go for that before it gets lower, which it prob will.
hynzy, pop into a john mullholland bookies, they are a bit clueless when it comes to GUFC so you should get a decent price off them. Just dont mention anything about players and what not, as they'll lower the price the more info you give them.;)

Yeah I think those odds are still available
If we can improve our form againist the weaker first divison teams Harps and Shams dont stand a chance.
Look at last year we beat dublin city away with 10 men and then in our next game we lost 3 nil to dundalk at home
I am confident that our new additions to our squad will help slove this problem. we shall see after the first 10 games or so.
Gufc fans we unbeliveble in cobh in a game that nothing(go on the tribal army) so God help Killkeny if we have a chance of winning the League on the last day of the season.
Come on Gufc:) :)

It'll probably be an overnight stay anyway, will just make it all the more sweeter being 1st division champions ;)

For **** sake......the little sh!t.
He has been our most consistant player for the past 3 seasons and ye should win the league now ye got him.
I think he left because he wanted more money so ye will surely be paying him big wages.

lads if ye dont go up now....great/unbelieveable signing for ye
there is a wage cap here at united, so he'll be getting paid the same as the rest of our top players (a drop in wages from last year for him).
I was in Mullhollands yesterday for a couple of lads and they only gave me what paddypower was offering 6/1.:(
Yes we are going in the right direction and have perhaps our strongest squad in years but that guarentees nothing. Hard work will get us up not hot air so keep a lid on things.
We need the people of Galway City, County and Beyond to get behind the club in what is our most important season ever.So spread the word and get selling those season tickets.

thats one hell of a signing, he can play in different positions can take a goal or two he is as good as murphs, with goughy captain i think we have a real prospect of finishing on top. fans need to be patient though we will blow hot and cold for a few weeks before we get into our stride :)
