Cork City trial for Vinny Sullivan


Cork City have taken former Waterford United attacker Vinny Sullivan on trial with a view to a permanent move.

Sullivan - who can play up front or on the wing - has been out of contract since the end of last season and has attracted the interest of Cork boss Damien Richardson who is anxious to bolster his attacking options having lost Liam Kearney to Shelbourne during the close season.

I was rather surprised to read this last night in de auld Echo andsuch. If its quality Rico's looking for, I suggest he looks a wee bit further :)

From the little i can remember, he's handy enough but looking at the bench last night, we need players.

He'll be swingin' out of the league champions trophy come the end of the season !! ;) :p

I thought something would have been announcedd this week but unless he plays tonight i'd say he'll have to concentrate on the plumbing.
