Report in the Irish Times said Quigley had a good game and made one or two very good saves to keep Ireland in the game.

Kevin O’Connor (Wolves) for Dicker 61, Derek Tyrrell (Drogheda United) for Deans 61,Can we presume that that's a tacticle substitution?

Maybe he's becoming the finished article.

What 19 year old is the finished article. Good luck to the lad his career is only starting, it will be hard for UCD to hold on to him.

I can't believe anyone would get into talking about any 19 year old being the finished article. Maybe those who think this need to grow up to..... Has any other UCD player ever captained Ireland at under 21 level before ?

Fair enough ha ha ! good joke for about 5 minutes ... but for one of your best players this year it must get boring listening to it. As UCD have such a small fan base wouldn't it be worth getting behind the players especially the younger ones instead of just talking c**p. I mean with out the so called finished/unfinished artical along with Hurley, Quigley and byrne (the kids) UCD would have nothing going for them, apart from the older(finished articals) who of course lit up the league last year(joke) BTW.

If you have an aversion to people talking c**p, you're not going to like this internet site.

We do sometimes talk sence but you'll probably have to wait untill the new season starts.

Cool,
All this internet talk of matches really has me looking forward to the new season. This must be what it's like to support a team in england.

Are we all heading up to Drogheda?

Sorry, won't ocnsider him the finished article until he can score a last minute winner in the World Cup final...against Finland... :D

Delighted for him - when was the last time a UCD player scored for Ireland U-21s?

I see Quigley was dropped for this game to give Randolph a run-out, but it looks like Quigley will be No. 1 when the qualifiers roll around again.

Speaking of which, who are we playing when that Azerbaijan game is on? 'Cos that game's going to be cancelled.

This is really great news. The experience will stand them both in good stead and will sharpen them up for next season.

We don't talk crap about our youngsters. Dicker has tremendous potential. His ability to retain the ball at his is nothing short of amazing. However his passing and driving forward needs improvement. One of the goals we scored in the cup in Bray showed what would happen if he took the ball forward more towards the box. He beat two men and laid on a goal. I'd love to see more of it next season.

Answering my own question here, but there's no date set yet - has to be played before 15th July.
