The new First Division won't now begin until after the teams play for a subsidiary cup. It had been thought that it would be played at the end of the season, or maybe during the season. But at the Management Committee meeting last night, it was decided to play it at the start of the season.
That's actually fairly good for us with Mullen and Brennan being in the States for the start of the season. The fact that they will be missing for July doesn't matter so much now.
