Could you not use wage values from Football Manager 2006 or something? Would make more sense than blind guessing :)

sorry about any confusion folks - i got banned from the forum for a week there so wasnt able to update this thread. Basically I had to move the site to another hosting company as the last one had a problem with sending emails to people that registered (they saw it as spamming - yeah it really was my week).

Anyway the new address is:

The list of players and values is finalised so you can pick and save a team. I will not change the values / poistion/ clubs of any that are on already regardless of what transferes might happen (actually I think the transfer window is closed anyway isn't it). Some of you may have had a problem with the session timimg out if you logged on there already but that should be fixed now.

i'll send you details of prizes etc when you register - theres rules and instructions on the site itself.

i might have a separate table for people that just want to play for the craic but i'm not promising anything

a mere €5 sfc (blind maybe but a lot sharper than me it would seem - ive amended the page now)

so far plenty of registrations but not too much in the way of payments. :rolleyes:

I'll send mine tonight. There's a few Shels details missing. Heary is a right full, Dillon is a centre half, and you left out Jim Crawford (one of our best players IMO) and Alan Reynolds.(centre mids)

I'd say people will be alright registering and sending on the fiver within a week or 2 (cos brendan ain't that mean ;) )

so far very few people have paid so yeah i'll allow one extra week for entry fee to be paid. Needless to say though you wont be able to register or amend your squad after this Friday. So far 147 people have registered so hurry up folks, if most of you were to enter that'd be a nice prize fund - enough for a manger of the month prize each month too which would make it more interesting.

Just a few things to bear in mind (cos so far some people have forgot)

if you're sending entry fee by post, include you're email address or username
if you're sending from Northern Ireland send Euro not sterling

also if you and a some mates are thinking of entering and paying by paypal less commission will be charged if you lump it into one payment (so less loss to the prize fund). Paypal is the most popular option so far.

having given it some thought i will allow this late payment only to people that are already registered. (if you register between now and friday then you need to pay before friday)
I've sent an email to all those registered up to now.

I don't think it makes much of a difference, but I'd prefer not to give mine away anyway.

Whats the deal with the registration? I registered last week but no email with password 'n stuff so i've had to re-register with different mail address...

I'd say better to allow join whenever they want but just don't keep points until fee paid?

You just use your own password that you gave when you registered.

as dmandmythdledge says you should be able to log on with whatever username password you gave

Anyway, is there any way of looking at the individual score of players to see who is not doing the job so you can put him on the bence? :confused:

just added a player table page where you can see how players have scored - anyway top of of the league and looking to drop people?

Risteard - you should have got a mail acknowledging your payment - could you pm me with your username or email address and i'll sort it out
