Beggsboro 3 -2 Dublin City

Last night, game played in Beggsboro’s spanking new facility in Cabra. Not sure what sort of team Dublin City had out.

Was a pretty weak City side out last night. 3 trialists on show (none of whom impressed) Ben played out of position in midfield, ditto Crowley out on the right (although he probably stood out more than any other player. Pender was ok, Hedderman had a terrible 2nd half, Shielo was poor. Freeman was grand and Collins was poor also. That said they cam from 2-0 down and only lost the game in the last minute. Davey Ennis was in net, with no sign of Rodgers, Rooney, MCCarthy, O'Donnell, McGill, Doyle, Keely. Brennan came on and played out of position in midfield, Duffer, Smith and O'Meara from the U21's also played. So it was in effect a B team.

Really like those new kits - look great. Any idea when they will be on sale. Have a mate visting me from Dublin for Paddy's day here in Canada and hopefully he could pick them up for me before travelling. :)

As far as I know the jerseys etc will be available at all the Carrolls Irish Gift Stores in late February. Don't think they've set a date yet, on a long slow boat from China AFAIK. Ringo may know closer to the actual time. Particularly like the look of the away kit I must say, tip-top.:)
