Westside

To be played on Sat 28th Jan. K.O 17.30 Hogan Park.
Seeing as how no one put this up on the site I thought I better had. Should be a good test as Shelbourne have been training since before Xmas due to Sentanta Cup commitments next month. I am interested to see how our new signings play. Are all our players bar McGrath still with us from last season????? If so, our squad should read...................

Mooney.
Wolfe.
Tobin.
Finnucane.
Buckley.
Purcell.
Molan.
Donnellan.
Keating.
Barrett.
Jones. ???
Kelleher.???
Waters.
Kiely.
Rose.???
Heffernan. (hopefully)
Bakic.???
Healy.
and our U21's.
With no rugby on in the city on Sat. hopefully we get a good crowd PD will probably be selling the programs.:D :D

Game has been cancelled!!!

http://forum.shelbournefc.ie/chat/viewtopic.php?t=5120So it has, looks like this game will not go ahead at any stage now, apparently the pitch is unplayable:eek: don't fully understand how this could be:confused: but it was confirmed on www.irishfootballonline.com. Its a shame really cause it would have been a good fixture with a potential big crowd also.

Think the pitch thing is a spoof for "couldnt get any ref!" The refs are having their yearly this weekend and were unable to provide cover, hence there are very few if any games on this weekend.

that theory will be backed up if the hill celtic vs janesboro match goes ahead in hogan pk on sunday morning in the Premier.

was meant to be played in Hogan Pk but a ton of sand was put on the pitch making it unplayable, was then fixed for Jackman Pk but no ref available to ref it, next game is against Dublin City in Jackman Pk next Sat k.o. 2.30pm

Why is that game being played in Hogan Park - I thought they'd been gotten rid of for good. :ball:

Rose.???

Heard that you can take those question marks away from Rose's name. He may not be officially signed but he'll be playing with us.:ball:

Looking at the squad above I think we could have a really decent side. We still require IMO - one good solid battling midfielder to play alongside Tommy Barrett. Could Finny be the man?

Mooney

Keating Purcell Buckley Tobin

Heffernan Finucane Barrett Waters

Kelleher McCarthy

Could put Keating in midfield - move Buckley to left full and play Molan at right. Still would be great to sign a decent midfielder (someone in the mould of Coiln T O'Brien). :ball:
