Hello UCD fans!

I am a Finnish researcher studying the Eircom league for an English software company. We are working on a top-selling football management game and the fans are important to us in making the game as realistic and accurate as possible. I appreciate the squad is not yet complete but I was wondering if you could help me with the following details for 2006 season:

- captain (Tony McDonnell?)
- penalty takers
- free kick takers
- corner takers
- any long throw specialists in the squad?

I am also interested in the formation (4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-4-1-1..) and the tactics (long/short passes, attack/defence) both playing at Belfield Park and away.

Many thanks in advance!

Jussi :)

Tony McDonnell - captain
Robbie martin - Penalty taker
freekick taker - just re-signed Alan Cawley, who has a repoutation for scoring for us.

I am also interested in the formation (4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-4-1-1..) and the tactics (long/short passes, attack/defence) both playing at Belfield Park and away. - Yes, all of them.

I think you left out the 5-5-0 formation & oong ball tactic? ;)

We generally play 4-4-2 with short passes. Attacking unless it's one of the league leaders.

I got a PM from A Face wanting to test it. He hasn't replied since. Was going to put a disclaimer in my sig. When I get the word it'll be gone as quick as Paul Whitemarsh is slow.;)

Yeah my avatar went awol so I PMed A Face about it. He had emailed me asking to activate my avatar and had no idea what he as doing until I saw Poor Student's. Surely there should be more respect shown when dealing with such immensely delicate and offensive issues.

A Face is wasting his time in all honesty. No true fan among our vast legion would ever let themselves down in brandishing that abomination on a permenent basis.

What thing?;)

Jam, if what you've been saying is right, we're going to lose W.J. Doyle and Robbie Martin plus we've lost Dupuy and Anto Murphy. Any inside rumours that we're signing a striker? I'm getting a bit worried, there's not many floating around free and decent.
