Jaysus looking at that euro 88 vid that goal the dutch scored was crazy. I must have seen it a million times from different angles and maybe thats a new angle but that vid really rams home how much of a spin it did take.

presumably then you wont be watching a match tommorow between two of their more famous teams due to a hatred of their country

Just cos I don't like them doesn't make me not watch them;), and yes, I will be watching the United/Pool game:).

oh right but their players had nothing to do with a riot 10 years ago.

USR 3-2-1-0-5-2-5
IRL 3-1-2-0-2-1-4
NED 3-1-1-1-3-2-3
ENG 3-0-0-3-2-7-0

With Ireland playing West Germany in Hamburg in the semis.

All those clips are just Reeling in the Years, incidentally...

fair enough but on the law of averages im guessing at least some of these english fans are manchester united supporters but yet you still support their club

What are you on lad? Gustavo is right. That's a complete contradiction. If there's one thing that p!sses me off it's "Irish" people who support the likes of Rooney when he has his ManU jersey on and roar abuse at him when he plays for England. Like Gustavo said, I'm sure there were ManU fans amongst the English in Lansdowne that night.

As in, a fan of the team and the club, I don't support their fans, I don't give a dam about their fans really, it's just the team itself. I'm sure their was Man U fans among the England crowd and shame on them if they took part in the riots but just cos I support Man U doesn't mean I like/support their fans too.

ok but you said up there that you hate the english team because of its fans . strange to then turn around and say you support another english football team and dont care about its fans
