What was the site, I think from one of the posters on here, Tets? Which listed all the Irish team results and whether they played/beat a higher ranked team?

Is this it - http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/
Scroll down to the entry titled "The history of Ireland competitive victories over higher ranked opposition"

The list of results, including rankings is here: http://sites.google.com/site/tetsujin1979/Home/matches.html

FYI - if you're going to quote an article, please don't repost the whole thing, quoting a few relevant excerpts and a link to the original are all that is needed.

This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, just something I've noticed over the last few weeks

following the discusson on the Daniel Crowley thread after it was moved, I would ask that any discussion on a player who is currently with another international side to be kept to the "Potentially Eligible Players" thread: http://foot.ie/threads/119079-Potentially-eligible-players-thread
If the player does change his allegiance to Ireland, the discussion can be spun off into his own thread

more of a guideline than an outright rule, but if you're posting a link to an article one of the aggreator sites (balls.ie, joe.ie, etc) posting a link to the origin of the content (twitter/youtube/instagram/etc) is appreciated
