I heard today that Limerick have signed Pat Purcell from Waterford United and Colm Heffernan could also be on the way... anybody else heard anything?
Might be an incentive for Paul Finucane to stay too?

If its true its fantastic news, especially heffernan who was such a threat for us before, we've been lacking a heffernan all season long, two decent signings if its pulled off. Loosing finucane would cancel it out though im afraid, would be such a huge loss, he's been our most consistant player IMO.

Nose bleed, imagine Paddy, Finni and Buckley in a back three, playing ground football :D with two wing backs (as our full backs cant defend, three in the middle, and before them Carthy behind robbie and Barrett up front, goals galore unbeaten and promoted. Ahh if relaity was as good as my dreams :p Capello leaves Juventus and asks can he coach such a good team!

Makes no sense, if they cannot pay player wages, couple that with travelling expenses to Waterford, to me it doesn't make sense for Waterford or the player himself:confused:

Purcell looks more or less certain at this stage. According to a club source, there's a "good chance" that Heff will come back on board.
And at least two more players with Premier Division experience supposed to be in serious talks with the club.
There's also hopes that Robbie will play for Limerick this season again.

Hope Robbie comes back though, he was one of the success stories of what turned out to be a disappointing season last term.

You can keep Packie Holden. He'd provide good cover for Jimmy Fyffe. :)

Couldn't see him dislodging Noel Mooney tbh. :)
Isn't great that its looks like we're no longer the Eircom Leagues Munster feeder club. :ball:

Holden to Cobh (possibly with Breen) was something I heard earlier in the week.
