Id say we are with errea pulling out of kit sponsorship in the eL. Havent heard whos got the contract, but id guess theyd run out with the errea logo blacked out if no deal comes through! How **** would that look!

The Town have signed Tom Silke from Galway. He's a defender. Lawlor is in England trying to sign Danny Spiller and Barry Ferguson. Just been posted on the Town site..
Some coup if that was pulled off... but pie in the sky as far a Ferguson maybe concerned... I don't think we have this sort of attraction.. but then again, for lawlor to say Paul McNally was our only real loss, it must mean he has something going for him...
Swallowing my Words...
Barry ferguson has signed

Looking good,
looks like the prediction about him attracting quality was right. Right, but none the less suprising.
Anyway long may it continue.
Alan Murphy would be nice.

But that much quality.... I'm surprised... see my previous post....
He can attract the quality.... Hasn't Alan Murphy signed for Bohs and spud a new contract?? What are you on about??

Nope. Alan Murphy of Galway hasn't signed for Bohs. That was just a rumour as far as i know. Our own Spud has indeed signed a new contract. Spiller would be nice too we'll have to hope he comes, anew forward is also needed, And Murphy could indeed be an option. Have heard rumours that there's more Galway players on the way although i don't know who else we'd want..

Your man JC said there's more coming from Galway on the eircomleague site, and id say he'd be in the know.

Galwayutd.net seems to be the source of these rumours but how accurate they are remains to be seen. the only player that springs to mind who would be a good addition would be Alan Murphy. From talking to various town heads who would be well informed nothing about any Galway players coming has been said by them..we'll wait and see..

Ahem, well the fact that i didnt say great to see him staying says it all, he's an ok player and his loyality is unquestionably brilliant but that wont get us to the top

- Athlone Town have signed former Longford Town midfielder Stephen Kelly who has spent three years at Flancare Park. The 31-year-old has signed a one-year deal.
In fairness didnt lawlor get Kells to come back last season, even though he wasn't keen to play.
