Republic of Ireland 1-2 Nigeria
The Republic of Ireland's two-year unbeaten record at Lansdowne Road fell to Nigeria but not without a huge fight right up to the final minute.
Ireland laid siege to the Nigerian penalty area in the dying moments but to no avail. Like Jack Chalrton's team in 1994, a good run of warm-up games came to end at the last hurdle - the Czech Republic did the damage on that occasion.
