All Dublin City has to keep it going is rampant and unceasing ambition.

Did I miss something?? Better post it again maybe.

No, still don't get it.

How can a club that does not exist have any sort of ambition????

Go back to the College and find the link between the above. :confused:I work late in college so maybe I can help. You claimed that the club Dublin City does not exist. Poor student reminded you of a time you were likely to have seen them play. That's a fairly direct link and it probably doesn't require a college education to point it out.

Yes, we did indeed play a club with a fictitious name, but that in itself is not connected with this:

Thread title: [Home Farm] for Dalymount

Or is it??

If so, find the link.

The link is quite simple. For a club to play in Dalymount it must first exist. You claimed that the club does not exist and therefore would not be able to play in Dalymount. Poor Student has reassured us all that the club does indeed exist by giving the example of their most recent game. I attended the game with Poor and Bald Students and and can confirm that we both saw a club existing before our very eyes.

Mypost probably believes they can get into the premier league, if he keeps believing Dublin City don't exist:rolleyes:

What d'you expect from Seery? A club here play under a title that doesn't exist, playing in a "Premiership/ Premier League" that also doesn't exist.

21 clubs in this country play in the League of Ireland. Home Farm under their alias, are out there on their own, in the League of Make Believe.

False.

Dublin City are a name. Home Farm are the club. Anything to the contrary is Seery spin.

All that "link" is, is simply another dig at our club, and is nothing to do with this thread about Home Farm playing games this season at Dalymount Park. You still haven't found any link between the match above, and the thread title, so keep looking until you find it, I'm sure it's somewhere in cyberspace.

Seery won't complain about all the bad-mouthing though. "Bad publicity is still publicity" and meanwhile Dublin City is becoming the most-talked-about club in the EL.

bull. as seery himself pointed out, all the press reports over the playoff were about rovers getting relegated, no-one cared that CHF were up. all those column inches about our history and fans, no mention of the side that replaced us.

the only people talking about CHF are CHF fans, this thread was started by them!! they are an object of ridicule

It's eL fans like you that ensure that the general public will never feel comfortable enough to intrude on your little and well worn patch, with your "whatever is good for me and f*ck everybody else" attitude, and actually take a chance to support real Irish football. Ironically it's normally people with the same attitude who refer to the GAA as "bigot-ball" etc. Very, very sad.

but you arent encroaching on our patch. thats the whole point, you are in a limbo of some sort. just there for a few years.
what are you on about, posters on this site don't "support real irish football"?

Well if you have a look there is not that many posts by the DCFC fans themselves

*Cue- "That's because they have no fans"*That's probably because the club doesn't exist. Apparantly Shamrock Rovers were relegated by an abstract concept.

Apart from almost every el fan on this site, the Herald did a five page spread the next day.

Chill out before you have a heart attack will you.
If we are such a non entity stop talking about us.

Amazingly enough I was not reffering to you or I directly:eek: Not even the two clubs (ok one club and one non-entity) that we support. I was merely saying that it is people with your entrentched attitudes and hostility to any alterations to the perceived "norm" within the league; ie) p*ss on all alleged fans who know less then I do, f*uck everybody who doesn't support my club and how f*cking DARE a little p*ssant club who are not fit to carry my club's jockstrap relegate us. I mean the cheek. And obviously any deluded fool who actually pretends to have any feeling/allegiance to this joke is barely worthy of my internet chatroom scorn...but hey I'm bored so...

In short it is people like you who are the worst advertisment for supporting the eL.

I have no more to say on this thread/dead horse.

Trust me, there's nothing abstract about either Roddy Collins or Tony Maguire.

i have never once criticsied CHF on the pitch, you beat us over 2 legs fair and sqaure, i objected to you sticking our keeper in hospital, but thats kicker keely for you. i think all 1st division regional clubs have no excuse if you can put that on the pitch.

again, ad nausem, i object to the fact you never got elected to the el, and that is sympotmatic of the corrupt ineptitiude that pervades the league. and all sporting franchises.

Rovers is just a name sold down through the years & used by various conmen to make money out of gullible fans. Now that you’ve nothing left to rob, they’ll just let you die in the first division.

And we're obsessed?

Taking abuse off you is like aldershot fans abusing Juve fans. Seery is not a conman? CHF fans are the most gullible in the world if they actually think that you will be even afloat by the end of the decade.

"they’ll just let you die in the first division." Who's "they"??

Dublin City beat ya's for a reason, (u'll prob say "pipped"). NY.. face it man. Think... who wanted to be in the Top-Flight more so... Vikes or Hoops? Plain to see, even over two legs that City earned their place in the 'Pleasant Land'.

Talk to us again, if & when ya can challenge us, in whatever position we lie, in the Premier Division... ;)

That about sums up my feelings. Any chance you could convince Danger Mouse to change the franchise's name to Navan Town or Belmullet United or something...

At least then you'd be doing the league some good.
