Dundalk will benefit from a significant cash injection after being declared winners of the eircom League First Division Fair Play award for 2005.

The Lilywhites topped the First Division table on 1153 points, just three points ahead of Limerick FC.

The Oriel Park side earn €4,500 as a result of their on-field benevolence, while Limerick gain €2,000 from the league.

UCD were declared winners of the Premier Division award, which carries an identical cash prize as well as a possible umbrella place in next season’s Uefa Cup competition.

Couldn't even win this, finished behind Dundalk of all clubs, that's it I'm totally disillusioned with the whole thing now. :o

Unless Jimmy O'Neill gives back the €2,500 he owes the club I'm done with the Eircom League :eek: :)
