Dundalk will benefit from a significant cash injection after being declared winners of the eircom League First Division Fair Play award for 2005.
The Lilywhites topped the First Division table on 1153 points, just three points ahead of Limerick FC.
The Oriel Park side earn €4,500 as a result of their on-field benevolence, while Limerick gain €2,000 from the league.
UCD were declared winners of the Premier Division award, which carries an identical cash prize as well as a possible umbrella place in next season’s Uefa Cup competition.

1. Dundalk 1153 pts (€4,500 prize)
2. Limerick 1150 (€2,000 prize)
3. Kildare County 1135
4. Galway United 1131
5. Cobh Ramblers 1131
