Good stuff ... although, just one thing ....

This particularly applies to thread starters: Links to articles or forum posts without commentary will be deleted.

I'll be honest, i do post up stuff whit just a link and a few lines etc. and while i dont give my opinion straight away, i normally get back to it. Will this be very strict ??

I presume a few lines are OK. There'll be stuff you won't have very strong opinions on but think will be interesting and might want to find out more from the other posters from.

At least that was my reading of it...

I made this a rule because it's a rule on Boards.ie, and for good reason: If people don't state their opinions, you get an awful lot of people dumping stuff in as trolls. People with agendas tend to use this tactic to incite racist and sectarian flame wars, for example, or even to troll for recruits. I don't think we should make an exception to this, even for regulars, because then they'll be pointed to as exceptions and the rule will go ignored. It only takes a few minutes to express your opinion, so take the few minutes?
