I wouldn't class myself as a Star Wars fan, but I'd definitely recommend the latest installment - class film

I'm a big Star Wars fan and went to see it last Friday.

I thought it was very dissapointing, in fact, it nearly ruined the whole Star Wars thing for me. The best thing that the film has going for it is that it IS Star Wars. If it was an ordinary Sci-Fi people would think that it is crap.

I thought it was terrible. The fight scenes were too short (crap compared to those in phantom menace) the love story was cheesy and the acting dismal.

All of the special effects were obvious e.g. the waterfall when Annakin and Padme were having their 'picnic' -couldn't they have used a real location for that ? even when Obi-1 was walking around in the Cloners city the flippin corridors were computer generated rather than actual sets ( even Star Trek can get that right ).

The easiest comparison to the original trilogy is made by comparing the big battle at the end where the clones are fighting the ( never convincing ) robots -the whole thing is so obviously computer generated. Compare this to the snow battle at the start of The Empire Strikes Back where they used real actors and explosions and locations and there's no doubt as to which is more convincing and enjoyable.

I nearly fell asleep in the cinema. Very cool fight near the ned incvolving Yoda but overall not worth the effort.

Like some one said earlier, The only thing going for it is that its Star Wars. It's really just a crappy B movie with loads of money thrown at it

Corny. Class effects, and Natalie Portman was just uh, but corny.
