I am your main man if you're looking for trouble
I'll take no lip 'cause no one's tougher than me
If I kicked your face in you'd soon be seeing double
Hey little girl, keep your hands off me 'cause I?m a rocker

I love to rock and roll
I get my records from the rock on stall
Sweet rock and roll
Teddy boy, he's got them all

Down at the juke joint me and the boys were stompin'
Bippin' an a boppin', telling a dirty joke or two
In walked this chick and I knew she was up to something
I kissed her right there out of the blue

I said "hey baby", meet me "I'm a tough guy"
Got my cycle outside, you wanna try?
She just looked at me and rolled them big eyes
And said "ooh I'd do anything for you 'cause you're a
rocker"

That's right I'm a rocker

I love to rock and roll
I get my records from the rock on stall
Sweet rock and roll
Teddy boy, he's got them all

Rock on Philo:)

Will never be forgotten. I wasn't around when he was alive but I still listen to his music and know his stuff, even went to his grave a couple of times. R.I.P. Philip!:(.

Twenty years??? Seems like yesterday.

I remember as a highly impressionable 14 year old finding Thin Lizzy's album "Johnny The Fox" among me oul fellas ELO and Phil Collins tapes (There is no accounting for taste!). I couldn't believe my ears- It was the most amazing album I had ever heard. I went out to track down some more Lizzy albums and bought "Live & Dangerous"- The greatest live album ever. I remember turning "Massacre" up really f#ckin loud and I was blown away by it. It was like someone went out to write an album especially for me, such was my connection with the music (How self-centered is THAT!!)

I still listen to Live & Dangerous regularly and I love it. Philo was dead only months before I got into his music- It seemed fitting that kids were still discovering his talents after he was gone.

RIP- Pure Genius.
