The better make an announcement that you need to get them before a certain date or else there will be a price change it would be lousy if they did not !

To celebrate promotion to the eircom League Premier Division, Sligo Rovers are offering season tickets for the 2006 season, at 2005 prices. This offer will end on Friday 6 January.

i seriously doubt that if you've paid already you'll be expected to pay more after friday. i got mine in jako&they put my name on a list so i'd say the names on that list will have their season tickets printed&ready for collection whenever they're ready

As far as i know, red4eva is right - those whp purchase(d) the voucher on or before 6 January will be able to exchange it for a season ticket when they are issued.

Does anyone know if the club are sending out season ticket renewal letters as they have done in previous seasons?

I would be hoping there would be no need. The special offer has been advertised on the web, newspapers, radio. All the season ticket holders should have got their ticket by now. There's still 3 days left.

Fair enough, but you would imagine that the first step the club would have taken to raise money for the new season would be to send out renewal letters and make sure they got all of last years season ticket holders on board to start the ball rolling. Why should the procedure this season be any different to previous seasons because of the big drive that is going on?

For me, getting the renewal letter/form works out well because I won't be in or around Sligo during the off season to get a voucher. In fairness, it was later than this when they were sent out last season alright, but I wonder at what price the season tickets will be offered if renewal letters are still to be sent out? It would be unfair if they were offered at the higher prices. I was waiting for the usual letter, but I reckon I'll have to try and organise a voucher befrore Friday instead!

full price admission for next season will be €15. dunno bout concession prices. 16-17 home league games, prob 3+ other games(league cup&friendlies). for arguments sake let's say 20 games @ €15=€300 so season ticket is decent value. i hope no1 will b*tch about the increase. payin €10 to see darren jack, derek o'brien&mark cobey is a rip-off. €15 to see john o'hara, liam burns & conor o'grady in da premier is fair enuff.

I thought Cup games against non league opposition were not included but the rest were !No, cup games are never included in season ticket offers due to the fact that the visiting team gets a percentage of the final gate so they would lose out if season tickets counted.

No, I had to pay for the Pats and Longford games last year!

dublin city were charging €15 last season, that's a rip-off! ours is perfectly fair in my opinion. for the last 3 or 4 seasons i've got into lg cup games with my season ticket

€15 is fairly standard in the Premier. What you get for it varies. For example Bohs give you a seat, while Drogheda let you stand and charge an extra fiver for a seat!
I know Longford put it up last season to 15 and came in for some local criticism.
But as I said, the others are doing it two seasons now (in fact we could be due our next round of increases!)

I spoke to a representative of Sligo Rovers and he said that season tickets may not be issued any time soon however the Vouchers Dated before Jan 6th will be honoured & if for any reason you don’t have your ticket before the start of the season the voucher will suffice for the first few games.;)
