Refreshing to hear this...

Cork City star Roy O’Donovan has expressed his gratitude to manager Damien Richardson for giving him the chance to play for City this year.
O’Donovan was plucked from obscurity with Coventry City reserves to become the find of the season at Turners Cross this season.

Hes an excellent player :ball: and very well spoken too.
And the way he wound up opposition players and especially Shels means he is a bit of cult hero already.

i remember him playing against us and he made a dope of tim mc can both for pace and skill
and the best thing is that he can only get better as he has just turned 20 and is still a bit raw.heard him on the big red bench.came across well.fair play roy!

I say Eanna old chap, jolly good to note how Anglicised you have become since the Cultural Capital appointment. It has been really spiffing to read your comments on absolute legends who are excellent players with a damn fine attitude. Jolly good show old chap keep up the good work etc., etc.:p

Gave us the finger down in Cork last time out. Loved seeing him dive and not get anything for it. Loved giving him the finger back when we, deservedly, won.
Looks a good player mind...

Needs a fair bit of coaching yet but the raw talent is certainly there.
Rico will turn him into a star.

I agree with that, has the potential to be another Doyler and is a really sound bloke. I love his attitude too, what he said to Heary after he scored in Tolka is legendary!
I don't think he'd be too pleased about being called Royser though Eanna!:D

Who decided that?
Roy has a lot of raw talent & if he continues to improve at current rate will be too good for us in 2 years time. Hopefully if he sold on at that stage we will have learnt from the past & get good valuation.

Ah surely not. Even with the 9 men ye had ?
Roy is a good player but has been known to go over the top at times.
Should have walked vs Derry in the title decider.
