The eircom U21 League's representative squad will play their Glasgow Celtic (Scotland) counterparts at Balleybofey on August 3rd.
The news is a big boost for the league, which it is hoped will lead to improved standards in the main eircom League in years to come and Paul McStay's Celtic boys are sure to be a huge attraction in Donegal which is a well-known hotbed for soccer and the Hoops in particular.
Pat Duffy, the newly-appointed Development Officer of the U21 league said: "It's a great opportunity for the league's players to pit their wits against quality opposition and it should show the U21 league in a very positive light.
"The Association are delighted with the fixture and we're looking forward to a great night in Balleybofey."
