UCD part company with quartet
December 21, 2005
Premier Division UCD have parted company with four of last season’s squad, including experienced defender Mick O’Donnell and French striker Damien Dupuy.
O’Donnell had been at Belfield Park for ten years, but will not be offered a new deal, while Dupuy, signed from Galway United last year, also has no future at the club.
The will be joined on the out-list by young pair Brian Gannon and Liam Tiernan.
Gannon made 39 appearances for the Students but is keen to pursue his future elsewhere, while under-21 team defender Tiernan is said to have been unhappy with the lack of first-team opportunities at Belfield Park.
Both had been among 15 young players signed up on soccer scholarships last year, but will be plying their trade away from College next season.

From eleven a side. No word about Cawley though.
