he looked even fatter in last week's weekender. he's on a full time deal so i'd say he'll be in better shape by january 21st(back to training) & hell of a lot better shape by march

Who cares what he looks like or if he is overweight. Whats matters is how he plays for Rovers.
And from what I saw of him against Rovers last season he was easily their best player.

His weight hasnt affected his performance and he always gave 100% for us. From what I hear tho he is determined to lose the excess baggage and when he does you will have one hell of a skilled and fit footballer on your hands.

In fairness, it dosn't take a lot to be monaghan's best player:rolleyes:

True feo but he was far and away the best. As have said before, he has quality no matter who he plays for. You dont "lose" talent just coz u get injured and put on some weight....the talent is still there just needs to be brought back out with some serious training and he views Sligo as a new life and a new start and I really wish him all the best with ya.

Tallaght. was with Pats for a couple of seasons. Great talent but his weight is far, far too big a problem

we still need another left back i think now that Kaps has left. this guy IMO won't cut it in the premier and McCann may not be good enough either, although he might be leaving aswell!

He was on full time training with us. His mind will never be right and he'll never be able to control his weight.
