standing in the shopping centres for hours on end promoting the club, they sold something like 20 season tickets yesterday. People have been complimenting them on their committment and its nice to note some of the Board members and players have stood with them encouraging people to spend the christmas money on utd

Well done to all GUST volunteers who manned the stand.
We now have only one away kit in stock, plus less than 10 home kits.
The sales for the weekend were over E3,500. The value to GUFC is much more than this, it can't be measured.
Without exaggerating, this weekend has been the highlight of the season for me. The effort shown by our volunteers was brilliant. In particular, Barry Hynes, David Creaven and Conor Holland were outstanding in their committment. David works in the Galway Shopping Centre, he went straight from work onto voluntary duty on the stand. He was told to go home on Sunday, but he insisted on coming in. A credit to the club.
PD.

Wow - I'm dead impressed! Fair play to those who had the initiative to go out and organise the stall in the first place!

I agree David Craven is a living legend and he will become the manager of Tescos 1 day! He would follow Galway Utd to the end of the earth and he is a good friend of mine too. Hes a nice guy to say the least and the away trips wouldnt be any fun without him to be honest. He's a bloody hard worker and deserves the credit. Well done Davie and keep up the good work.
He does the trumpet :D and he sets the new style, What a legend!
3 cheers for Dave,
Aaron
