Oriel proves hit with GAA teams
As the Gaelic Athletic Association’s Croke Park headquarters prepares to open its doors to soccer and rugby next year, Dundalk’s newly-refurbished Oriel Park ground has proved to be a hit with local GAA teams in recent weeks.
The County Louth venue boasts the only Fifa two-star synthetic playing surface in Ireland and has come to the rescue of GAA teams unable to train on ordinary grass pitches because of the recent inclement weather.
