Sorry lads deal not quite done yet..just to tie up a few loose ends such as Jason Byrne heading for Sweden and the very best of luck to him..quality striker.Drogheda couldn'e keep up financially but Dillon top 4 defenders in the country will fit in superbly at Shels.

As I said before, when anyone signs for us, we will have it first on Shelsweb. Straight from the horses mouth so to speak.

Far to many midfielders for a 1st team squad. Chambers should be loaned out for 1st team experience, worked wonders for Tyrrell with us last season, come to think of it, well have him back again this season :D That would still leave ya with 9 playing for 4 spots.......

Yeah I agree with you that Chambers needs to be loaned out.

He will be playing with Rovers, Pats, Bray or Longford next season!!

I dunno about loaning Chambers out, I reckon by the end of the season he could be first choice. He has really, really impressed every time I've seen him. If he fulfills his potential him and Ndo would be sensational together.

O'Hallaron wont be one of the mid fielders, he's cover for the defence I'd say and primarily Heary.

you're not wrong there. Christ, Ndo and Chambers in midfield, there's a tantalising thought if ever there was one!! :D

I'd be delighted to see him starting but I can't see it happening in the forth coming season!! Since he is a centre mid it is automaticly gonna make it harder for him to make the first team!! Now if he was a full-back or a winger it would be easier.

IMO centre mid is the most important position on the pitch therefore it will be harder to get a game. Don't get me wrong about other positions but centre mid is where it can be won or even lost!!

Nutsy has already shown that he has faith in playing Chambers, however, in Turners cross that was not the right game for an 18 year old lad to make his debut!!

Anyway it's gonna be good to see if Tyrell and Chambers can push the more experienced players for a starting place!!

if dillo does join shels guys who are the players ye are trying to let go as part of the deal? believe it is that is holding up the deal!

Don't know. I have not heard anything. Maybe the Bakers are joining back up?? (hopefully :p :D )

We can only hope...

Maybe that's what's holding up the deal in fact. Longford are willing to give us Dillon, but Shels want to give them Richie Baker and Longford aren't happy.

You mispelt "bad" :D :p

Anyway how is he a scumbag - yes he was sent off 3 times last season but I don't see how it would make him a scumbag (I recommend "arsehole" though)

Very little distance left as regards a fee as I heard tonight. Safe to say an agreement should be reached soon.
