Was it Tabby on the X Factor tour ? Dont they play at Wembley arena every year !I think Tabby played there alright but avenalaff said earlier that is was football, not music.

Re: Wembley I think Red_Away played there in one of the hundreds of corporate matches that were played there after the last "official" match.

The answer is that in 1966 The Sligo GAA team beat Galway to reach the final of the Wembley Tournament which was organised by London GAA. In the final they played Cavan and were beaten 3.10 to 1.10.
Ironic that the GAA who resisted 'foreign games' being played on their own grounds had no objection to playing themselves at the Mecca of Association Football.
Ye should have good craic in Mooneys with that one.
