Injunction lifted as O’Byrne stays put
The injunction imposed upon St Patrick’s Athletic by club chief executive Bernard O’Byrne has been lifted during High Court proceedings on Thursday, but the Inchicore club have agreed not to terminate his contract without mutual consent.
The former FAI chief applied to the High Court for the injunction after becoming convinced that the club were keen to dismiss him.
