Spurs pair Robbie Keane and Edgar Davids have escaped internal punishment by the club after an alleged training-ground row on Friday last.
Keane and Davids, both of whom started as Martin Jol’s side climbed into the top four of the Premiership table at the weekend, skirmished during a training session just 24 hours before playing Sunderland at White Hart Lane.
But the club will be taking no further action against the duo.
A spokesperson said: “We see it as a sign of the players’ passion and commitment. There was an incident, but it was handbags and it’s all over and forgotten now.”
