The Bit O'Red Supporters Trust awards night was held in the Ark Bar on Thursday night last. The night proved a big success and a great time was had by everyone. There was music and singing aplenty with alot of players taking to the stage to lead the crowd into song.

Conor O'Grady was awarded the supporters player of the season award .
The award entitled 'The Mark Brindley Shield' was awarded to the influential midfielder, following a poll of Sligo Rovers supporters. Each winner of player of the month went forward as nominees for player of the season.

In his acceptance speech, Conor stated he was honoured to receive the award and he dedicated the award to his team-mates.

The Player of the Month/Season proved successful this year and the trust aim to improve on it next season.

Paul McTiernan was awarded the 'Johnny Armstrong Shield', a new award that recognises the top scorer each season. McTiernan bagged 14 goals this season to become the inaugural winner of this award.

Club captain Michael McNamara gave a speech recognising the hard work put in during the season by players and management. McNamara also thank the trust for organising the night.

Sean Connor thank the trust for organising the night and highlighted his desire to bring more success to the club,while recognising the superb effort that his players put in all season
