And why do Cork only have 32 played according to your table??

How long did it take you to do this?

Did you work this out from your score predictions!?
Yep. Took about 20 minutes - just set up a league table on Excel and added in the various results one-by-one (played, points and goal difference updated automatically). Not overly sad!:p

I like Drogheda's position though!:D

Hmm...

If anyone else is equally not overly sad, I could probably work this out for theirs too.

So you're offering to work people's tables out for them now?!

Now that's sad!!

So you're offering to work people's tables out for them now?!If you are Schumi, then I'd like to see my First Division table then please:o :D.

I'm offering to spend about 20 minutes working out a way to do them all in one go. If I don't manage it fairly quickly, it won't happen!

Of course your predictions were in no way biased. UCD deserved to finish 5th instead of 8th.

I said otherwise when?

Of course my predictions were biased. Do up your table and see where you had Bray finishing.

How do you work out your prediction table... Not really a computer master as such! Excel i know, but how?

Make a league table. Put the names of the teams in the first column. In the second column, put =sum(c2:e2) [those being the cells you have the win/draw/loss record in - this saves you the bother of adding up the games played]. In the next few columns, if you predit (say) Bray to win 2-1, type over Bray's win total with the same figure plus 1, and re-type the goals columns in the same way. Then do the same with Bray's opponents. The goal difference [=f2-g2] and points [=(c2*3)+d2] can be done automatically. Go through all your predictions - they're in order on this thread, handily enough - and you'll arrive at your final league table. Just watch out for postponed games where you made two predictions.
