Would it be possible to have 'add X to your ignore list' on the menu that drops down when you click on someone's name rather than 'add X to your buddy list'? I find that I add people to my ignore list MUCH more frequently than my buddy list (what does that even do anyway?) and it would be handier to not have to do three or four clicks to do that.

Also, why is it not possible to add a mod to your ignore list? Can mods not be annoying too that you cant ignore them?:o

No. TBH I find the idea rather petty anyway, so I'm not going out of my way to look for a solution. Grow up.

And the rest of ye: This is a support forum, not a chat room. If ye want to trade idiotic little comments, do it via PM. Stop the postcount wh0ring or I'll reset your counters.

What are the benefits of a buddy list???
I mean, how does it work.
I know, I know, it's another stupid question of mine but does it mean you can get your buddy's posts quicker or what??

  :o

I'm pretty sure you used to be able to use it to "quick address" your PM's, however the address field uses AJAX suggest magick now to find them for you, so I'm not sure if there's really a point any more.

In the Private Message Recipients field sirhamish. Click here (http://foot.ie/private.php?do=newpm) and type "da" in the Recipients field. See the way "dahamsta" and "daherlihy" come up? You can choose one of them with you keyboard or mouse to fasttrack addressing.

Cheers and thanks Adam. Believe it or not, it had vaguely (very vaguely) crossed my mind that it would be something like that. Now, I get the entire picture.

There is hope.............:o :D

Funny man, you know what I mean though?

Is there any way you can stop a particular thread from appearing on screen when you log on?

Only problem with the ignore list is that you can't add mods to it.

dahamsta

I've changed that setting. Work away. If it impacts upon the warning system I'll need to toggle it back on though.

Might as well post this here rather than start a new thread.

If someone quotes someone on my ignore list, the quote is not ignored. Is there a way for the quote to be ignored too? Or maybe it can't be, as it's within someone's post who isn't on my ignore list?

The last bit. It's a separate post.
